The View Oman and its Breathtaking View
Nestled on the edge of a cliff and surrounded by mountains, The View Oman is the first eco-luxe retreat in the country. In its name itself, the view will humbly take your breath away!
The View is not a big hotel or of the same kind. It is a series of 30 pods equipped with all the modern luxuries that one will find in a hotel. Superior rooms have a partial (you may see other pods in front of you) views of the valley. And Premier rooms have a full, uninterrupted, panoramic views of the magnificent setting. Nevertheless, all are furnished with a terrace so you can admire the beauty of the scenery throughout your stay. The view is so good that you might want to wake up early in the morning to see the sun rises.
Though you have to take 4x4 to reach the place, you do not need to worry if you do not have one or to rent one. The View offers a pick and drops service with an extra charge which we availed. We left our car on an empty lot where some of their guests parked theirs too.
With its location, you might wonder what else you can do? The View offers outdoor activities like biking and hiking around Jebel Shams, cultural tours around Nizwa (visit Nizwa Fort and Castle), and even donkey safari! If you do not like the mentioned activities above, there are available cards and board games to play with your company.
Mind you, all your thoughts of exploring might fade once you see their infinity pool because ours just stopped existing! We spent half of our day playing in the pool. The view is explicit that you just want to stay and wait there until the sun sets.
