Lucky enough to experience some of its lavish facilities for free!!!

Millennium Resort Mussanah is a 4-star hotel famed for relaxation and recreation. It offers a panoramic view of the Gulf of Oman and Al Hajar Mountains as it is located at Al Batinah Governate's coastline.

This lifestyle resort has a number of outdoor facilities which includes 5 swimming pools, an 18-hole mini golf course, and tennis courts. It has also a spa and a health & fitness club, and a private marina perfect for water sports activities like sailing and snorkeling.

Wondering how we experienced the luxury resort for a day - for free? They have this on-going promo for ladies; so Kim and I went a few weeks ago to take advantage of it. I mean, who doesn't? (Check their facebook page here)

Upon arriving at the hotel, one hotel staff greeted us, confirming our reservation and gave us a neon green wrist strap. he also instructed us to go to the next building, 3rd floor, where their Zayna Spa is just so we can change our clothes.

When we reached the spa, the receptionist gave us towels to be used later on and gave us direction where we can change our clothes. The ambiance was peaceful and very relaxing with the help of the candle burners that I saw. The fragrant of the essential oil is perfect for a spa.

We walked in a hallway with series of rooms ( manicure & pedicure room, etc ). Parallel to it is another pathway with a balcony where you can see the Jacuzzi, a steam room, and shower rooms. On the other side, you'll find 3 cubicles and a separate powder room. And just right after you passed to it, there's a cute space with a square couch in the middle, lockers on the side and 2 changing rooms.

In their spa alone, I already felt the comfort and luxury which the hotel aims for their guests. What more if you're able to stay in one of their rooms overnight? One must be really psyched!

So without further ado, we changed into our swimming pieces and headed to the pool area. Uncovered, there are 2 swimming pools, one of those is an infinity type facing the beach area.




We were in a pool for about 30 minutes until we felt the monster in our tummy. Luckily, Azure restaurant is just a few steps away.

We ordered I think, the Azure’s special. It’s a seafood platter - prawns, fish, squid & mussels, served on a sizzling plate and a side of fries. Loved the mussels!!!







After eating, we head back to the pool area to relax for a few minutes more. Then we decided to try their Jacuzzi. Unfortunately, when we’re back in the spa, the power was not on. We were shy though to asked for assistance because we thought that it's only exclusive for in-house guests. (But right after we took a shower, we found out that we can use it!!! Too late.)




We didn’t end there, though. Just before we go, we dropped by to their mini golf course and we’re able to try it.

We ended the day feeling tired but happy. The services and facilities were remarkable and genteel. I hope, you guys, can get the chance too to experience the luxury lifestyle that this resort has to offer because it is more than meets the eye.
