Smashed Burgers by Rocomamas
Visiting Rocomamas was not part of the plan. Kim and I were actually craving for pizza that night. But sometimes, we don't stick to the plan, you know?
We drove around Shatti Qurum and parked in front of City Cinema. And as soon as we got off the car, we saw Rocomamas. It's new! And we totally forgot about the pizza...
The restaurant was quiet (not busy) when we arrived but we were greeted by the staffs lively. As we seated, our server gave their temporary menu apologizing for they were only open few days ago. We were also handed a booklet and a pen informing that it's like a test paper. We'll just need to check what we want to order.
We had 8 pieces of chicken wings in buffalo sauce with a side of bleu cheese sauce as starters. It was not extraordinary but still, it tasted great!
With the burgers, we had their Chilli Cheez Bomb. It comes with smoked beef, bacon, cheezbomb, aged cheddar, mozzarella, fresh chili and chili mayo. I liked it but it was too spicy. The fresh chilies and spicy mayo overpowered everything (maybe). But I super loved the crispiness of the bacon!! It was cooked perfectly.
We also tried one of their limited edition burger - Slaw Daddy. I forgot what's inside (shame on me) but, I think, it's almost the same as the first one except that it wasn't that spicy. You'll get to taste everything especially the richness of the beef patty! May not be the best that I had but one of it, definitely!
And down to my favorite part - their Los Nachos Beef Fajitas! Oh. My. Gosh. If nothing's perfect, this one's close! From the crispiness of the nacho chips, how the beef was flawlessly done and to how the cheese smothered all over it. Not to mention the sour cream and guacamole served with it that added extra flavors and goodness. THE BEST!
Wondering why we didn't order for some drinks? It was too pricey that it broke my heart :( Good thing is they have "neighbors". Hahaha!
Nevertheless, everything was just awesome! The experience was fantastic! You should try it, too! :)
